The Bol d’Or du Léman Organizing Committee’s objective is to organize a high-quality, friendly regatta that will delight sailors. The 86th edition of the iconic regatta will focus on the essentials: organizing a regatta for lovers of Lake Geneva and sailing, with impeccable organization on the water, thanks in particular to the work of our loyal volunteers.
The Société Nautique de Genève also confirms its desire for openness and sharing, and will remain open throughout the weekend. The public will have direct access to the Esplanade du Pavillon des Sports, while the restaurant will remain the exclusive domain of club members. Discussions are underway to provide even better access for enthusiasts and families wishing to follow the Bol d’Or du Léman from land; more information to follow…
The grand paella, so popular with all competitors at the opening ceremony on Friday evening, has been maintained, while the OPAGE (Office de promotion des produits agricoles de Genève) will enable all competitors to enjoy locally-produced wines and beers, as well as fruit juices and other regional specialities.
Last but not least, for the first time in the history of the Bol d’Or, the finishes will take place in the axis of the Ylliam lighthouse; a clearly visible bitter for the competitors, which will give a special touch to the finishes.
In short, the Bol d’Or du Léman 2025 aims to be efficient on the water, simple and friendly on land. We look forward to welcoming you to La Nautique from June 13 to 15.
